We welcome enquiries from postdoctoral researchers and prospective PhD students interested in comparative and developmental approaches to human cooperation, as well as from students and recent graduates looking to gain hands-on research experience as volunteers. If you would like to get involved, please email us with your CV and a few lines about your research interests and, for volunteer positions, your availability.
Postdoctoral researchers interested in applying for independent fellowships (for example, from the British Academy or Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions) to be hosted in our group are encouraged to get in touch well ahead of the funding deadlines.
Prospective PhD students should get in touch well before applying, ideally between August and November, as approval from a supervisor is required before submitting an application. Information on the application process and funding deadlines is available on the UCL Experimental Psychology PhD.
We also welcome students interested in research projects on chimpanzee welfare and conservation, carried out in collaboration with our partner sanctuaries in Africa.
